Skye has been in love with jewelry making since she was nine. She first began shopping at That Bead Lady. Through classes and lots of practice she developed her skills. She graduated from OCAD’s material art and design program in 2019, where she studied jewelry design and metalsmithing. She has received several awards for her metalsmithing work including the Lily Yung Memorial Award for her thesis work and the Vaccaro Family Scholarship for one of her pieces. When she’s not busy working or creating jewelry, she enjoys mixed media journaling, mosaicking and spending time with family, friends and her two dogs Petey and Angus.
