Scales are used for embellishing chainmaille pieces and following patterns. HyperLynks’ scales are available in either aluminum or polycarbonate plastic and a variety of sizes. In aluminum there are regular and premium scales. Regular scales are anodized before being cut and therefore have a bright aluminum edge while the premium version is anodized after cutting and will have an anodized edge that matches the colour of the scale.
