The process of creating kumihimo braids is made easier by using a Kumi Weight. This weight keeps braiding tension consistent when you attach the alligator clip to the end of your braid. This weight works well for thicker (1.5mm) or a greater number of strands. It is small enough to fit through the center of your round Kumihimo braiding disk.oximately 90gram 4 inch Kumihimo Weight
