I started out making lampwork beads many years ago, but it wasn't a hobby I could do easily in my living room. I took a few classes at That Bead Lady, and was instantly hooked on how you could embroider, loom, weave and build objects and jewelry with thread and tiny little beads. I have since taken many classes with local and global bead, wire and chainmaille artists, and have made many inspirational friends along the way. The structure and patterning of geometric bead weaving is intriguing, and the individual creativity of bead embroidery is always unique. The possibilities with beads are endless. I have many creative hobbies, but the main goal is to always find a way to embellish everything and anything with beads.

When I’m not busy working or partaking in my creative hobbies, I enjoy boating on Lake Simcoe, watching sports, and spending time with my family.
